I wish we had a few days of this, but it turns out that one night was beautiful, quiet and peaceful enough to calm my soul and give me more to thank God for.
Here we are starting out. Did I mention it was hazy, hot and humid. My three least favorite H words? Perfect night for this adventure.
We stopped and fed some ducks. So cute! |
Girlfriend time off the back of the boat - just swinging out hot feet in the cool water and enjoying the breeze and spectacular view talking about how good God is.
This is my friend, Becky. She can do anything! She could easily man this boat by herself. She makes me want to be better.
Sometimes you just have to jump in!
Tubing was a fun treat. The kids had lots of fun but have sore shoulders today :)
Stillness. There's nothing to say but much to take in.
Ben taught himself how to knee board.....
only took a few tries and he was UP!
This is not for 40-something-year-olds. At least not for this one :)

No tv program, movie or video game can compete with God's creation.
"God designed a world filled with spiky and furry animals, vast expanses of constellations, and colors unimaginable. God was not stingy in sharing creation with us. When we are enjoying nature, we are experiencing the wild generosity of God." M.Feinberg
We truly enjoyed nature and experienced the wild generosity of God on this brief boating adventure. So thankful for good, generous friends and a God who loves to show off His creative side.
"He leads me beside still waters....He restores my soul." Psalm 23
